A new jam submisssion
Another game jam submission, this time however not for the Godot Wild Jam. The original plan was to join November's Wild Jam, but once the theme was made public it somehow didn't click with me and ended up having a busier month with IRL stuff than originally planned. I still wanted to join some jam however so I started looking. When I came across the 20 second game jam it looked perfect. A whole month to make a 20 second game. Even with my busy schedule that would be possible.
As with any game jam I wanted to focus on something to either improve of try out for the first time. For this jam I decided that that would be the light nodes in Godot. I had never worked with them before so they would be the focus of this jam. Thus Last Light was born. Was it the best concept I could come up with, probably not, but it was the first I came up with and it stuck with me.
For the last 2 jams I did I ended up doing some more work on the game after the jam so you might wonder if that will be the case for this one as well. Well, probably not, it is just a 20 second game after all and I've had more than a month to work on it so it feel pretty much done. I don't expect there to be any bugs. Should someone find bugs anyone I'll of course try to fix them, but I don't plan to add any additional content.
